The tour
What to expect.
The Langtalereck Hut is a popular summer and winter base with excellent food and welcoming hospitality. On this introductory tour we travel on touring skis to the Schönwies Hut and continue along the usually prepared winter route to the Langtalereck Hut.
After a relaxed hut stop, we return to Obergurgl along the winter track, interrupted by one short counter-ascent. No off-piste experience is required, making this an ideal first tour for confident piste skiers who want to experience the high mountains.
The tour can also be extended to two days with an overnight stay and a relaxed evening at the hut.
