Training Basic · 1 Day
Compact, hands-on training in avalanche emergency equipment and successful companion rescue.
Course overview
Prepared for an emergency.
The right equipment is essential in the mountains — but in an emergency, it only helps if you know how to use it. Training Basic is ideal for newcomers and for experienced ski tourers or freeriders who want to refresh their knowledge. In one compact day, you learn how to handle avalanche emergency equipment and follow a clear strategy for successful companion rescue. Intensive practical training covers transceiver search, probing and fast, efficient shovelling after an avalanche accident.
