One of the Alps’ best-known summits, approached from a high hut at 3,019 metres.
On day one, you make your own way up to the Similaun Hut, where you meet your mountain guide over dinner. Starting from the high hut lets us take our time and enjoy the glacier ascent.
After breakfast, we cross the Niederjochferner and follow an easy mixed ridge to the 3,606-metre summit. We descend either by the ascent route or via the scenic Marzellkamm to the Martin Busch Hut, depending on conditions.
Tip: Similaun is also available as a Bike & Hike day tour.

North Tirol’s highest summit, with glacier travel, exposed ridges and sweeping views.
You walk independently to the Breslauer Hut on day one. The next morning, we climb through the steep Mitterkar to the Mitterkarjoch, cross to the more heavily glaciated northern side and continue over the Taschachferner to the southwest ridge. An easy mixed ridge with a short climbing passage below the top leads to the 3,770-metre summit.
We return by the ascent route or, if conditions allow, cross the north summit and descend via the Rofenkarferner to the hut. The summit rewards us with a 360-degree panorama.
Tip: Wildspitze is also available as a Bike & Hike day tour.

A grand Obergurgl summit combining expansive glacier travel and an airy ridge.
On day one, you walk independently to the Langtalereck Hut and meet your mountain guide over dinner. After breakfast, we head over the Schwärzenkamm, pass the former Hochwildehaus and reach the Gurgler Ferner. Roped together, we cross the glacier past Annakogel and Annajoch. Fixed cables and steps cut into the rock help us climb to the airy northern summit of the Hochwilde.
Depending on conditions, we can return by the ascent route, traverse the southern summit and descend the crevassed Langtalferner to the hut, or continue over the southern ridge past the Stettiner Hut to Pfelders and return to Obergurgl by bus.
Tip: Hochwilde is also available as a Bike & Hike day tour.

An Obergurgl classic: a varied ascent through changing alpine terrain to a panoramic glaciated plateau.
You walk independently to the Langtalereck Hut and meet your mountain guide over dinner. After breakfast, we follow a marked trail across the Vorderen and Hinteren Ackerlen, then faint tracks to the Mittlerer Seelenferner.
A series of rises and a crossing of the bergschrund lead to a saddle above the Wasserfallferner. We cross the glacier with wide views, follow the short summit ridge and reach the cross on Hinterer Seelenkogel at 3,472 metres.

Two rewarding summits close to the Ramol Hut: one with a small glacier and block ridge, the other an airy rocky climb above the hut.
Both peaks are easily reached from the Ramol Hut. For the Northern Ramolkogel, we cross a small glacier and follow an easy boulder ridge to its beautiful summit cross. The Hinterer Spiegelkogel is the hut’s own peak, reached by an easy but partly exposed rocky ridge.
We normally choose one summit according to the group and conditions. With an additional night at the hut, fit and sure-footed mountaineers can also aim to combine both summits on one day.

Obergurgl’s unmistakable glacier peak, with far-reaching views and a night at the spectacularly situated Ramol Hut.
You walk independently to the Ramol Hut on day one and meet your guide there over dinner. Early the next morning, we follow tracks along the Fernerbänke in the first light of day, enjoying sunrise on the way to the glacier.
We ascend the glacier and a short rocky summit ridge to the cross at 3,540 metres. From the top, the views reach down to Obergurgl and the Gurgler Ferner, and across to Similaun, Weißkugel and Wildspitze. We descend via the Firmisanjoch back to the Ramol Hut.

A spectacular glacier journey with a night at the ‘glacier castle of the Alps’ and an ascent of Fluchtkogel. Vast icefields, modest technical demands.
A night at the Brandenburger Haus, surrounded by glaciers, is an experience in itself. The historic stone hut stands above the Kesselwandjoch between the Gepatschferner and Kesselwandferner. We take time to enjoy the views and the atmosphere of this remarkable place; a short walk towards Dahmannspitze offers a fine vantage point for sunrise.
On day two, we cross the Kesselwandferner and upper Guslarjoch to the nearby Fluchtkogel (3,500 m). We descend over the Guslarferner to the Vernagt Hut and continue to Vent.
This scenic tour has no special technical prerequisites and is an inviting introduction to glacier travel for fit hikers and mountaineers.

Austria’s third-highest mountain from Bella Vista or the Oberettes Hut, with a glacier approach and a memorable exposed summit ridge.
On day one, you make your own way to Bella Vista or the Oberettes Hut and meet your mountain guide over dinner. The following morning, we take the route from our chosen hut to the Hintereisjoch.
From there, we climb the Matscher Wandl and follow the technically easy but very exposed rocky ridge to the summit. We descend by our ascent route.
Tip: A Weißkugel ascent pairs beautifully with a climb of the Ortler.

A grand glacier traverse to Austria’s third-highest summit, with a night at the spectacularly situated Brandenburger Haus.
On day one, we walk from Vent to the Brandenburger Haus, either via the Vernagt Hut and Fluchtkogel or via the Hochjoch Hospiz and Kesselwandferner. We choose the approach to suit conditions and the group.
Starting early in the light of sunrise, we cross the vast Gepatschferner, descend at the Vernaglwand and continue over the Langtauferer Ferner to the foot of the Weißkugel. Depending on conditions, we climb the east or north ridge to the summit.
We descend via the Hintereisjoch and Hintereisferner to the Hochjoch Hospiz. This is a long, demanding high-alpine journey.
