The tour
What to expect.
We reach the Langtalereck Hut from Obergurgl on the first day. On the second morning, the route climbs into a compact but truly alpine setting above the hut.
The summit section is steep and exposed, while the circuit through the Innere Hochebenkar often rewards us with very good snow. It is a classic tour around Obergurgl and an excellent first hut-based summit.
From the hut to the summit, allow approximately two and a half to three hours for around 800 vertical metres over 3.3 kilometres.
