Mittlerer Seelenkogel from Langtalereck Hut
3,424 mA beautiful glacier tour with a technical summit section and a steep descent option for strong skiers.

The tour
What to expect.
Following the approach to the Langtalereck Hut, the summit day leads via the Ackerlen and onto the Seelenferner. Depending on conditions, the summit is reached via the north-west face or the north ridge.
The upper section can be technically demanding and may require skis to be carried. From the summit, the 360-degree panorama is exceptional; strong skiers may choose a steeper descent variant when conditions allow.
The ascent from the hut takes around four to four and a half hours, gaining approximately 1,100 vertical metres over 5.8 kilometres.
Private guiding with overnight hut stays.
The exact programme is adapted to weather, snow and the group.
The best period depends on snow cover and the chosen objective.
Transceiver, shovel and probe. Additional technical equipment when required.
