Multi-day · classic Haute Route
Venter Runde
6 daysThe classic Ötztal Haute Route over five celebrated summits, from Vent back to Vent.

The tour
What to expect.
The Venter Runde is the classic ski traverse of the central Ötztal Alps. Six days link comfortable high-alpine huts with the Similaun, Finailspitze, Weißkugel, Fluchtkogel and Wildspitze.
Day one leads to the Martin Busch Hut. Over the following days we cross the main alpine ridge, spend a night in South Tyrol and continue via the Hochjoch Hospiz and Vernagt Hut before finishing on the Wildspitze.
The programme combines ascents of roughly 600 to 1,350 vertical metres with long glacier descents. It requires solid ski-touring experience, steady fitness and flexibility when mountain conditions call for a change.
Private guiding with overnight hut stays.
The exact programme is adapted to weather, snow and the group.
The best period depends on snow cover and the chosen objective.
Transceiver, shovel and probe. Additional technical equipment when required.
Good to know
The mountain decides.
The final route, summit and group size may change with snow cover, weather, avalanche conditions and the current ability of every guest.
